Approached by active, and populous, local chapter of the Optimist Club to update design and maintain content for their website. Suggested moving the site to WordPress to allow the club to always have the choice to manage on their own. Implemented and customized robust WordPress theme with a built-in events manager plug-in that elegantly highlights the club’s year-round events. Area WordPress MeetUp group has proved an invaluable resource with this project. Monthly webmaster duties include: downloading backups; keeping event images, content and calendar details current; uploading newsletters.
